Register a domain. If you already have your own domain skip to step 2.

Open a web hosting account for your domain. Click here to order.

Contact your domain registrar and modify your Domains Name Servers (DNS).

To determine who your domain registrar is go to http://www.nsiregistry.com and perform a whois search for your domain name. It will display your domains registrar and their website.

Here's an example of a whois search results:

Domain Name: MICROSOFT.COM
Registrar: NETWORK SOLUTIONS, INC.
Whois Server: whois.networksolutions.com
Referral URL: www.networksolutions.com
Name Server: DNS2.CP.MSFT.NET
Name Server: DNS1.CP.MSFT.NET

You need to change your Domain Name Servers to the following:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Primary DNS Hostname: ns183.websitewelcome.com 
Secondary DNS Hostname: ns184.websitewelcome.com
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Depending on your domain registrars update frequency, it can take up to several days to implement the DNS update. Once your DNS are updated your domain will use your new  web hosting account.
